Hill County Tea Party – April 22, 2013
Marlene McMillan

Always an exciting guest, opening the way for new thinking and controversial discussions, Dr. Marlene McMillan is known as the Lady of Liberty and Forgiveness. She is a home-school pioneer, mother of seven, author of multiple books. Internationally she is billed as “The Nations Expert on Principles of Liberty”.
Dr. Marlene holds a Bachelor of Science from John Brown University, a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry with an emphasis in Church and State Relations from Tyndale Theological Seminary.
Sometimes those of us in the TEA Party can be long on passion but we don’t always know how to persuade others to understand our positions. Dr. Marlene is going to teach us how to explain where liberty comes from, what it takes to maintain it and how to pass it on to the next generation. She engages audiences through simple illustrations of cause-to-effect and explanations made personally applicable to daily life and the culture. She has a passion for dispelling erroneous beliefs and making the subject of liberty exciting. Most of her books deal with how the Bible applies to culture and how language is used to change the way people think without them even realizing what has happened to them. Much of her time is spent passing the torch of liberty to the next generation of leaders. You might not always agree with Dr. Marlene, but you will find that she always makes you think.
